Linda Sorensen - Painter

Linda crafts modestly magical landscapes with a modernist vision that is bold, bright, stylized and simplified, and typically has underlying abstract origins. She seeks to capture the depth and vibrancy of a scene as if the viewer were soaring over it and participating in the joy of the universe. Clouds are a signature feature, and there will often be some participant in the scene from the animal world.
She paints principally on the Northern Coast of California, including Sonoma and Marin Counties, and also takes her paints to Hawaii and the Southwest and Northwest.
