I was a 60’s abstract expressionist at UW-Madison, then in Berkeley, but now my art is a mixture, inspired by “living in a painting”. My approach is personal, expressive. Kindred spirits are Post-Impressionist painters (Paul Gauguin, Henry Moret, Odilon Redon) of Brittany, who employed strong and imaginative colors, emphatic line and design, and altered and mixed perspectives. I live in Bodega Bay with a studio at Atelier One in Graton, and specialize in seacoasts, vineyards, the Southwest..
