INTO THE REDWOODS ALONG THE RIVER
TO SEE ART!!
Guerneville
Beautiful Studio Location
On Armstrong Woods Road take a left onto Watson Rd. At 16120 Watson Rd you will have an opportunity
to see four extremely talented artists.
Studio 58 Sandra Maresca
At the location you will be surrounded by a garden, trees and tour a studio inspired by Sandra's trips to Southern France and Tuscany. In her upstairs art barn studio with its open beamed ceiling and northern light, you'll find paintings that express her philosophy that art is a unique way to connect emotionally with the observer.
About the Artist
She creates colorful, impressionistic oil paintings, plus small watercolors. Her subject matter is diverse: landscapes, figures, animals, interiors. She is inspired by whatever makes her laugh or relax. Her narrative work often depicts animals and their relationship to humans because she is convinced that we humans are “just another species” and have much to learn from other animals.
One-of-a-kind tote bag for groceries, gym, or weekend trips. Hand-made from upholstery fabric and lined in complementary cotton. Each has a giclee (archival) print of a Sandra Maresca painting.

Spirit totems are soft sculptures I make from clay heads and feet attached to wire armature, wrapped in wool batting and then needlefelted with either unspun wool or animal fur such as cat, rabbit or collie. Each unique piece expresses its own special spirit and is meant to be held in the hand.

Pop-up Garage Gallery
Sandra's garage will be transformed into a pop-up gallery. You will meet artists Luba Stolper and Edmund Price.
Luba Stolper, She paints directly from life, trying to create an interesting set-up with different objects. It is important to capture color harmony and a sense of movement. She draws her inspiration from old masters timeless work. She truly believes it is never too late to be passionate to learn.
Edmund Price, The body of his art work reflects his enjoyment and appreciation of the natural world. When he is planning a new piece he looks for a subject that says something to him—the way the animal is standing, running or just looking at him. Maybe it's the patterns, colors and textures of fur or feathers that are intriguing. These traits are what he wants to express in his work and something that he hopes the viewer will see and enjoy when they look at his art.
Sculpture Courtyard
As you walk down the path you will see a beautiful courtyard and meet sculptor Catherine L. Bohrman. She believes a sculptor’s challenge is exploring 3D space, delving into form, creating curves, angles and shadows. Her art embraces that while playing with the way the light changes the mood of sculpture and alters the form. She first sculpts with plaster and clay and then casts a maquette in bronze. She loves to explore the striking ranges of different colored patinas for each unique piece.
